🌿 Do You Believe in Prayer? 🌿 A story of intention and cosmic vibration…
An old woman named Amira lived at the edge of the desert, where sand met sky and the wind forgot where it had been. Her neighbors said she was strange— she spoke to the moon and hummed to flowers. Her garden never thirsted, though rain rarely came.
One year, the drought grew cruel. The wells coughed dust. Crops withered. The villagers gathered to pray for rain, solemn faces, folded hands. But Amira stayed in her garden, eyes closed, arms open, dancing slow circles under the sun.
A young girl named Leila watched. “Why don’t you pray with us?” she asked. “I am,” Amira smiled. “But not with fear. I pray with knowing.” Leila frowned. “But the sky is empty.”
“So is a womb before a child is born,” Amira whispered. “But it’s not barren. It’s ready.”
That night, Leila couldn’t sleep. The next morning, she returned.
“Teach me,” she said. Amira nodded. “Still your mind. Then speak without words. Feel the rain—not the wish for it, but the feel of it: cool skin, rooftop rhythm, the scent from dry soil.
That is how the cosmos hears you— not in your asking, but in your resonance.” They danced each dawn, not to beg, but to align. Others mocked them. “We dig new wells while you spin in circles.”
Amira smiled. “All action is sacred—if intention sings within it.” On the 33rd morning, the sky cracked— not with thunder, but light. One drop. Then a thousand. Until the world turned silver with rain.
The elders came. “What prayer did you say?” “I didn’t ask,” Amira said. “I remembered. The rain was already on its way. We just had to match its frequency.”
Leila beamed. “So…prayer isn’t just words?”
Amira placed a hand to her heart.
“Prayer is vibration. It’s the tuning fork of your soul humming in harmony with the universe. What you feel deeply and purely enough becomes.”🌧️
Do I believe in prayer? Only the kind that feels like dancing barefoot in dry soil, knowing rain is already in the wind. 🌬️
